More and more I'm a huge fan of both the Daily Show and The Colbert Report. And for better or for worse I get the gist of my news (not really the news itself but a sense of whats important for the day) from those shows.
So do you have a favorite? Do you even watch? How much of your news do you get from Comedy Central??

I love Stewart, but Colbert's character is better.

I like them both, for different reasons.

For worse.
I prefer Colbert- he tends to be a lot funnier and original (to me).

I do not get my news from either.
I think Colbert is probably funnier, only because I can see some people watching him and not getting the irony. I think Stewart is smarter.

I prefer Colbert, pretty much because I can do without all the serious Liberal stuff Stewart does. Plus, Colbert does so many random things that are awesome (bears, Colbert day, not seeing colour, etc...)

I've been asked this question before, and it's always very hard to decide. I think I'm starting to prefer Colbert now, but I end up watching both shows most of the time.

I tend to like Colbert. Stewart tends to get in his own diatribe after introducing a topic, while Colbert will joke about it much more effectively to get his point across. Come to think of it, he doesn't seem to have a point all the time like Stewart--but he's consistently funny. So I tend to like the implied nature. It lends more to the imagination than Stewart going off a bit on tangents...
I still enjoy Stewart, though.
