In this age of blogs, wikis, and web 2.0 sites (9rules included), I think it's easy to forget that there's more to the web than just those things. A lot more.
So, I pose to you, great 9rules hivemind: What's your favorite non-blog, non-web 2.0, website? It can be anything (but sites that others might find helpful / useful / interesting would be preferred). You may love your grandma's website, which details how to knit an aardvark, but not everyone will find it so amazing. ;)
I'm not really sure what mine is. I'll ponder it as I read others' answers.
By the way, I realize that I put this in the web 2.0 (web++) folder. I wasn't quite sure where else to put it.

Wow, you'd think this would be easier, but it's not. After a while I started to think web comics (recently hooked to QC) but those are basically blogs, anyways.
Looking at all the bookmarks in my browser, it's all blogs and "web 2.0" sites. Heh. There's some other stuff that isn't so notable like recipes and a link to the 9R ESPN site for FFB, but that's pretty much it.

IMDb, Cambridge Online Dictionaries, Etymonline... I suppose that's mostly research sites; things that don't need to look colourful and bubbly and where there's no networking need.

F1DB - I love numbers, and combining numbers with Formula One is just heaven.
Also, GEL Motorsport Information - It is ugly, it is old, but the information is top notch and in abundance. Seriously, I can lose hours just reading the stuff on this site.

I like A List Apart. ALA is so classy, so helpful, and oh-so-delicious. I like to read it while sipping tea because it makes me feel clever. It's like The New Yorker for web designers.

Ooops! I definitely only noticed the non-web 2.0 part. Then I'd have to say espn.com or cnn.com.

Sorry for dragging this topic out of the past, but I just realized today what my favorite non-blog, non web 2.0 site is: Bookmooch.com. It's simply an amazing thing. John Buckman, the chap running end, has done a marvelous job in building the place up. And, amazingly enough, even though the system is basically built on the honor system, there's very little cheating going on. I've sent one book which was never acknowledge - the person hasn't logged into the site in about a month. Other than that, it's been great.
Just today John fired up a new server, and the whole site is flying now.

I'm surprised at how popular ESPN.com is - but, then again, I'm biased. Not much of a sports fan...

I have to say Foxsports.com, but mainly for foxsoccer channel coverage. I am a huge EPL fan and I can keep up with other soccer on this site.
