It's total crap, of course. So why do we look at stuff like this?
It's been a frustrating year for me: Writing lots of new stuff, hearing how great it is, but then seeing everyone drift off to read brilliant claims like "Having fewer images on your web page makes it load faster." and then crown the author a genius.
Any insights, folks? Are we all getting dumber? Or is it just that the internet is magnifying the sound bite syndrome?
