Have you ever come up with a good saying, quip, witty barb, or had someone say, "That's a good way to put it."
Communicating grand ideas in 25 (or 10) words or less can be difficult, but sometimes it just happens.
Share your quotables. :)
For example, my dad used to say, "Son, it's who you know." Meaning you get ahead in life by knowing the right people.
For me it's not who you know. It's who you know that knows what you want. Meaning no one can hep you if they don't know what you want or need, so it's best to share your goals with people since you never know who can help you.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: punditry is dead.

brain burps seems to have caught on with my clients.... not original really but one I use a lot and it's like some virus i've created in my little corner of the microuniverse. Nothing like realising you should moderate your language and maybe you are 'too comfortable' with your clients and then too comfortable with you when they say they've had a brain burp and do a wink emoticon.

My long standing advice to my friends whenever they are faced with a situation that's completely out of their control would be:
"Drink beer on the porch"
It doesn't immediately resolve the problem, but you'll be in a much better frame of mind to tackle it once you're relaxed because it'll still be there once you get up.

My favorite is from Tolkien:
Still around the corner,
there may wait,
a new road
or a secret gate.
How true...

Having witty things to say isn't as important as proper spelling ;). (Quoteable?) :P '</jab>' I couldn't resist.

The ability to be witty and to relay new ideas in an interesting way is at the very crux of intelligence.

Matto - good point! I can think of more than one occasion where I've hit publish then done the classic "d'oh!"

I would have to say that I am pretty darn quotable in real life. But you should also check out my blog, it's nothing to sneeze at.

Don't get mad. Get even.
My dad used to tell me that. So, not really a quip that I came up with, but a long standing classic.
I don't get to come up with my own quotes. I have to create them for other people. "Some people like to think it's the network. We like to think it's the relationships."

I have no problem with Christianity. It's followers however need to read the book.
